There is profound meaning behind Diageo's designation of Guangzhou as the city where Johnnie Walker Blue Label "Bay Area" series was released. Guangzhou is said to resemble a pearl, shouldering the task of promoting geo-integrated development with the goal of becoming the world's largest "Bay Area Economy", ready to move towards a brilliant future.
Born from a cooperative between Diageo and TRIWIN, the world's first Whisky Boutique is located in Guangzhou, a strategic city among China's Bay Area. In the three years since its establishment on December 18, 2016, it has become a benchmark for boutiques in China. This symbolism is complementary to the persistent progression of the Great Bay Area and the Johnnie Walker brand.
Henceforth, Diageo will offer the Final Batch of Cask Strength Whiskies of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, "Bay Area" series to offer encouragement to the world ’s first Whisky Boutique in addition to exerting positive influence in one of the world's largest "Bay Area Economies".
